Types of noun:
1.
Concrete and
abstract noun
Concrete noun,
we can experience this noun with our five senses: see, hear, smell, taste, and touch.
For examples:
Book, cupboard, ice, wind, etc.
For examples:
ability, belief, etc.
2.
Countable and
uncountable noun
Countable noun
is the noun that we can count.
For example:
book, bag, tooth, etc.
To show that
the things are more than one, we can add (s) in the end of word.
Book à books
But, there are
some countable nouns that have irregular form.

Uncountable
noun is the noun that we cannot count it.
For example:
money, water, oil, knowledge, sand, sugar, powder, etc.

Proper and
collective noun
Proper noun is
used to name person, place, month, day, etc. Proper noun is always begun with
capital letter.
For examples:
Susi, January, Sunday, Makassar, etc.
Collective noun
is noun that has meaning collective and combination of some things or people.
For example:
group, community, team, committee, etc.
